You see three areas as numbered in the example image above:
- The image to be analyzed.
- Some properties like for example the following:
- Multiple Classes: Are several classes visible? This could be a dog and a human. Please check this box and select the class which is more dominant in the image.
- Hard to see: Is the class hard to see like the object / class is hidden behind a tree.
- Multiple instances: Are multiple instances visible? I.e. several wolves or several humans?
- The class selection area: Hit the button representing the most dominant class in this image. After clicking the button, the next image will be loaded.
FAQ
- How big should the wolf be in the image?
Some images contain a lot of landscape and there is only a tiny little wolf somewhere in the corner. For the detection, it is important that the wolf is a significant part of the picture. It should approximately cover at least 10 percent of the picture. In doubt: mark the picture as wolf. - I have already seen this picture!
The pictures shown to your are generated by our preprocessing toolchain. Due to the processing, several similar pictures are created. The chance of seeing the same picture several times is quite low whereas the chance of getting similar pictures is comparable high. - How many pictures are currently in here?
You can find this kind of information in the statistics (part of admin menu). - Where are the photos from?
Most of the photos are taken by us in the zoos and wildlife parks in Germany. Some are also donated by camera trap owners. - ...
